This Chardonnay was made with fruit sourced from the Wismer family's Foxcroft and Wingfield vineyards. These vineyards, situated near our winery, are perfectly suited for producing elegant, classic Chardonnay that demonstrates what makes this part of Niagara so special.
"92 points. It's quite fragrant and rich on the nose with ripe pear, bergamot, yellow apples, and chalky/stony notes. It’s mouth-filling on the palate with some fleshy notes but lovely salinity holding it all in check." - Rick VanSickle, Wines In Niagara
"Another fine vintage for this attractively priced chardonnay from the Twenty Mile Bench, always restrained and classically styled, made in the traditional, oxidative fashion, fully barrel fermented and aged, though with only a small percentage of new oak. The palate is noticeably richer and creamier, also riper, than the 2019, a more generously proportioned wine per the warm vintage. Acids are quite creamy and soft, making this a wine to enjoy on the younger side I feel with its loose ripe yellow-fleshed fruit in tow. Very good length and depth. Best now-2026 or so." - John Szabo, MS, Wine Align
