This Pinot Noir comes from the Wismer family’s Glen Elgin Vineyard in the Twenty Mile Bench region of Niagara. Planted in 1996 to clone 115, this vineyard sits very close to historic Balls Falls, just over 7 kilometres from Lake Ontario. This site was planted in the thin, rocky/silty soil of the escarpment, producing lighter-bodied, elegant Pinot Noirs. We have chosen to bottle this wine separately to showcase the unique characteristics of this vineyard.
